They also have a great beach palapa bar, only one in Puerto Aventuras beach. Located inside the Omni Puerto Aventuras Hotel. Specializing in Mayan and Yucatecan cuisine, as well as international dishes.
Café Ole
International fare, where everyone meets everyone. They have the best ribs in town! The restaurant is also known for having live music at night and wonderful homemade pies for dessert.
Gringo Dave's

Al Cielo Restaurant
Great food and ambiance. Wonderful place to spend the day on the beach. On Xpu-Ha Beach, just south of Puerto Aventuras on Highway 307. After you pass the Xpu-Ha Palace Resort Hotel, turn left at the next entrance (X-1.5).
Right before the Esencia Hotel. Follow the signs to Al Cielo Hotel. They usually have torches lit at night outside the dirt road.
Hunab Ku
Where the locals go for everything from Mexican specialties to hamburgers. Best ceviche and local fruit drinks. Located 2 km south of Puerto Aventuras, on the jungle side of Highway 307.

Restaurante Hechizo
Restaurant Hechizo is highly recommended by Gina, for a truly unique and unforgettable dining experience! Owners Hui and Stefan Schober set the stage for you with their secluded out-of-the way location, build anticipation with their poetry-like entrée descriptions, and reward you with delicious and well prepared dishes. Just ask Gina! She can’t stop raving about Hui and Stefan, the service, the ambiance and of course the food!
Be prepared to spend you evening at Restaurant Hechizo. The restaurant will seem intimidating to get to because you drive on a bumpy dirt road for about 20 minutes but you will be rewarded at the end. Seating times are at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 pm. Please use the phone or email above to make reservations or Gina will be happy to oblige for you. They are seasonal. Usually closed for the season until Dec 14- May. Driving Directions Hechizo Restaurant in Tulum
TIP: try to get there during daylight or the first seating at 6:30 p.m. Once dark the place is almost impossible to find.
When you are finished with dinner please ask Hui for a flashlight and visit their beach.
- take highway 307 going south
- you will pass the tulum ruins
- at the next traffic light, turn left towards the beach (turning right will take you to coba, and going straight will take you through tulum town...and also, you will see a san francisco de assis supermarket on your right)
- follow the road until you come to a t-junction...turn right (you will be turning onto the road tulum-punta allen)
- we are located on km. 10 of this road...you will pass a few little hotels and restaurants (this is also known as the "hotel zone" of tulum)
- after zamas, the road turns into a dirt road (after the rains, this had become quite bumpy, so it'll take about another 20 mins for you to reach us)
- you will pass maya tulum, ana y jose, las ranitas, and tierra del sol hotels...when you come to a sign that says "rancho san eric" and "hechizo" turn left into the private driveway
- continue on our private road until you come to another sign that says "hechizo".. .you will then see the restaurant parking
- if you pass the arches into the sian ka'an nature reserve, you've gone too far... they are the last driveway on the left before the arches
